This map consists of two sections. The first one shows Java. In the inset is a sectional view showing the comparative elevations of the principal mountains and places of Java. The second map shows Borneo. At the margins of the maps, there are illustrations of birds, animals, Javan labourer, Javan warrior, Javan woman of the lower class, bride of the higher class, Saghai Dyak from S.E. coast of Borneo, Serebis Dyak from N.W. coast of Borneo, River Sarawak & town of Kuchin and Dyak females from Borneo.These maps and illustrations were drawn in the 19th century.
